Easy Pepper Poppers

We love peppers!  On Super Bowl Sunday we decided to “Super” up some sweet peppers.  These yummy bites only require 3 ingredients.  Small to medium-sized peppers of any kind, pepperoni (or prosciutto, salami, bacon etc.) and cream cheese.

– Pre-heat oven to 350.

– Cut the top off and remove seeds in the peppers.

– Roll and cut pepperoni to fit into the peppers.

– Place softened cream cheese in a sandwich bag. Remove air.  Cut the corner off of one side of the sandwich bag to make a homemade piping bag.  Squeeze cream cheese into pepper.

– Place on foil lined baking sheet and cook until peppers start to brown.  Approximately 20 minutes.

– Cool and enjoy.

* Kick them up another notch…add your favorite BBQ sauce or hot sauce.
